FULL STACK DEVELOPER
We are looking for a Full Stack Developer to join our development team and contribute to building robust, scalable web applications. You will work closely with fellow developers to design, implement, and maintain features that ensure smooth and efficient digital experiences. Job Overview
You will build, ship, and maintain Laravel applications. Core focus is backend. Full stack is a plus if you can handle Vue for product UI.
Responsibilities
Backend, core
- Design and build RESTful APIs in Laravel.
- Model data with Eloquent, write migrations, factories, and seeders.
- Build background jobs and queues, use Redis and Horizon.
- Implement caching and performance tuning.
- Integrate third-party services, payments, and webhooks.
- Write tests with PHPUnit or Pest, keep good coverage.
- Secure apps, handle auth with Sanctum or Passport, rate limiting, input validation.
- Monitor and debug with Telescope, logs, and alerts.
- Document endpoints and key flows.
DevOps and delivery
- Use Git with clean branching and pull requests.
- Manage env configs, CI/CD, and zero-downtime deploys.
- Work with Docker (Optional).
- Own staging and production rollouts with rollback plans.
Quality and process
- Break work into tickets with clear estimates.
- Review code, follow SOLID and common patterns.
- Keep communication tight with PM and design.
Frontend, optional
- Build SPA components with Vue
- Use Tailwind, Vite, and basic TypeScript where needed.
Skills and Qualifications
Must have
- 3 to 5 years building production apps in Laravel, PHP
- Strong MySQL or PostgreSQL skills, query optimisation.
- Redis, queues, jobs, events, notifications.
- API design, versioning, and documentation.
- Testing with PHPUnit or Pest.
- Git, Composer, NPM, Vite.
- Clear written and verbal communication.
Nice to have
- Vue 3 , Tailwind.
- WebSockets, Laravel Echo, broadcasting.
- S3, CloudFront, SES, SNS, Twilio, Slack, Stripe.
Education
- Degree in Computer Science or similar is welcome. Solid experience matters more.
